Theme Customization

Markdown Guide

Markdown is Hugo’s primary content format. This page lists common syntax and shows how it renders in the Neso theme.

Hugo includes the Chroma syntax highlighter; no third‑party library is required. This theme optimizes its presentation and adds a few small improvements. Please configure it as described on this page.

Shortcodes

Hugo provides several quick syntaxes beyond what Markdown supports, called “shortcodes”. This theme fine‑tunes the appearance of those shortcodes.
